Expected set of responsibilities:

Assistant Manager/Manager-QA:

Overall responsible for quality function. Lead the QAD team in decision making with respect to quality compliance within the laboratory.
To Be Able To Lead the US FDA Audit with prior experience.
Authorized to issue the job descriptions to the concerned team member.
To ensure that quality management system is implemented and followed in laboratory and will have the direct access to the top management for reporting of same.
To ensure that appropriate documentation is made in a structured manner and to ensure that all the management documents/ procedures are reviewed periodically and validity status is maintained.
To obtain the customer feedback, acknowledge to customer, evaluate the feedback and take appropriate action as per management direction.
To acknowledge, investigate and respond the customer complaints. Ensure to identify the root cause and implement the necessary corrective action.
To ensure that the deviations/non conformities/out of specification occurred within the laboratory are investigated, root cause are identified and appropriate Corrective and Preventive actions are taken.
To take the custody of all quality documents and records and timely Retention of technical documents and records.
To plan and conduct the internal audits periodically to monitor the effectiveness of the quality systems in the lab. To conduct the need based additional audits as per the requirement by the Top- management.
To organize the management review meeting at least once annually and follow up of planned

Actions.

To maintain the required accreditation, certification and reorganizations.
To act as management representative during the external assessments and liaise with external bodies for accreditation and recognition requirement and be authorized signatory for the quality matters.
To schedule and organize regular and need based trainings to update the staff on quality policy, quality objectives and relevant procedures of the laboratory.
To review the method development/ validation protocols and reports and check their completeness.
Authorizing equipment qualification record.
To ensure that change control and qualification of the equipment happens in controlled manner.
To ensure that plan for proficiency testing/ inter-laboratory comparisons, internal quality check programs are available and implemented as per the schedule, and ensures the necessary CAPA taken in case of failure in programs.

Required Candidate profile

Basic Qualifications:
