Expected set of responsibilities:
Implementation and ensure requirements of ISO 9001 standards, Quality Management System Compliance, cGMP standards, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 Food & feed Safety and HACCP standards.
To be involved in conducting periodical plant safety Inspections to ensure the safety & healthy working environment.
All safety incidents must be investigated thoroughly to find out the root cause and CAPA to prevent a recurrence.
To implement a Process Safety Management system & to conduct Risk assessment during the commencement of new/critical production processes in terms of Health, Safety and Hygiene aspects by conducting a HAZOP study with R&D, Tech transfer team, Maintenance team & production team.
To conduct safety awareness training around the clock whenever required.
Evaluate, approve and monitor the safety work permits in day-to-day activities.
Strong knowledge on chemical Compatibility, Chemical Storage & UGT tank farm safety.
Monitoring and mapping of static electricity hazards and subsequently comprehensive action plan to eliminate the dangers of static electricity.
Upgrading the safety systems as per the current trend and as per the safety laws.
Coordination with the purchasing department for procuring personal protective equipment and safety-related equipment.
Practical training & monitoring of the SAFETY SQUAD TEAM
Upkeepment of all safety systems fire hydrant equipment and other related to firefighting systems.
Coordination with the safety manager for conducting safety & health-related training for all employees & contractors.
Coordination with the Safety manager for preparation of daily summary reports & record maintenance.
Coordination with the safety manager for monitoring and checking the fire protection system and first aid box.
